The Git Diff window uses a lot of horizontal space while displays have more vertical space.
This is particularly annoying because any horizontal space taken by some other component is not usable by the lines of source code being diffed.
This PR moves the 'tree selection panel' into the toolbar thereby adding some 2 horizontal lines of code.
