An email to dev@openoffice.apache.org would be the right approach for this
particular issue. 

Have you tried to reset the profile?
If this helps please put more research in this, Corrupted Profile is one of the
issues which are really annoying. Next to where users manage to destroy their
document leaving only '#', which we have issues recreating.
