[jira] Created: (HADOOP-4206) fuse-dfs support using fuse's default_permission checking

fuse-dfs support using fuse's default_permission checking
---------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: HADOOP-4206
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HADOOP-4206
             Project: Hadoop Core
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: contrib/fuse-dfs
            Reporter: Pete Wyckoff
            Priority: Minor

fuse-dfs can get posix permission checking by using this flag. fuse will assume 'root' is the superuser of the FS. Since HDFS does not do anything like a "root_squash" in exporting the FS, this is consistent with the current security model.
