This issue has been encountered on Falcon 0.10.0.2.6.1.0-129 in HDP 2.6.
The workaround mentionned by Pallavi Rao (and described here https://community.hortonworks.com/questions/47317/cluster-entity-vertex-must-exist.html) which consists of removing the MetadataMappingService and restarting Falcon worked for this version as well.
Here are the details of the Falcon version used:
