Sean Owen updated SPARK-14414:
------------------------------
    Fix Version/s: (was: 2.0.0)

> Make error messages consistent across DDLs
> ------------------------------------------
>
> Key: SPARK-14414
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-14414
> Project: Spark
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Components: SQL
> Affects Versions: 2.0.0
> Reporter: Andrew Or
> Assignee: Andrew Or
>
> There are many different error messages right now when the user tries to run something that's not supported. We might throw AnalysisException or ParseException or NoSuchFunctionException etc. We should make all of these consistent before 2.0.
