(newbie) "Hello World" with Jetty!

Hi there,

I try to start a "Hello World" application by using Jetty and I get a 404 page!

The URL I'm applying is: http://localhost:8000/kp/app?service=page&page=Home

I attach the conf files I'm using.
(kp1.xml is the conf file starting Jetty)

Thanks for your help

George

I'm using the latest Tapestry 4 beta.

I went trough that link and I did download the code as well. I also have this Home.html file. In the beginning placed under WEB-INF but even moving it under 'webroot' still gives me a 404 page. What do you mean by the "kp.application" file?I couldn't find any reference to that!

It looks like that Jetty doesn't find anything it can use under my 'webapps' directory which, in my case, is named "kp"!

Thanks

Are you using Tapestry 3 or 4 ?

Either way, you'll need a Home.html as well as a kp.application file with
the relevant details in it.

This might be helpful :
