[jira] [Updated] (KUDU-237) Support for encoding REINSERT

Mike Percy updated KUDU-237:
----------------------------
    Parent: KUDU-430

> Support for encoding REINSERT
> -----------------------------
>
> Key: KUDU-237
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KUDU-237
> Project: Kudu
> Issue Type: Sub-task
> Components: tablet
> Affects Versions: M3
> Reporter: David Alves
>
> REINSERTS make us loose all previous row history. In-order for this not to happen we need to store them somehow. The concern is that if stored as regular mutations REINSERTS are rowwise and not column wise, which could represent a serious perf hit.
