[DISCUSS] Apache Ratis 0.6.0 release
Hi,
It has been a while since our last Ratis release.
We have around 95 commits after our latest 0.5.0 release.
How about we start the process for a new Ratis release (0.6.0)?
Thanks,
Mukul

Thanks Marton! Those are good suggestions.
+1 for documentation and setting the new version as 1.0.0.
I can help with the documentation. :-)

What does it mean exactly to be a GA? I checked the previous
announcements and didn't find any notice that it's beta/alpha right now,
or not suggested for production. It already seems to be GA ;-)
If we would like to communicate that it's more stable as before, or it's
achieved a milestone, we can:
1. Add a mentioning of GA in the release notes.
2. Continue with version 1.0.0 instead of 0.6.0
Personally I think for a GA / 1.0.0 release a documentation is a must
have. But we can start with a very basic one and I would be happy to
write a few pages if somebody can help to fix my grammar / typo mistakes.
Summary:
* I am +1 for the release (thanks Lokesh for starting the thread)
* I am +1 for naming it as 1.0.0
* But I propose to add 1-2 pages of documentation.
