SpatialRecursivePrefixTreeFieldType ClassNotFound

Trying to get SpatialRecursivePrefixTreeFieldType to work, I'm following
the instructions in
http://wiki.apache.org/solr/SolrAdaptersForLuceneSpatial4#Configuration but
I'm getting a  java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:
com.vividsolutions.jts.geom.Geometry at startup despite having all the JTS
jars correctly in the classpath...
Any ideas?
