[jira] Created: (AXISCPP-744) Trace: no returnIndex set in SoapDeSerializer::getElement

Trace: no returnIndex set in SoapDeSerializer::getElement
---------------------------------------------------------

         Key: AXISCPP-744
         URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AXISCPP-744
     Project: Axis-C++
        Type: Bug
  Components: Trace Utility
    Reporter: Mark Whitlock
 Assigned to: Mark Whitlock

The SoapDeSerializer::getElement has lots of returns, and yet the exit trace of this method does not have the return index set. Looking at the instrumented code, this is a problem in the trace tool.

------------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

I am revamping the tracing support so no instrumentation is required. The tracepoints will be embedded in the code without any tooling.
