This feature can be little bit annoying as typing from one window to another may result in erasing text that was already typed in.

To reproduce:

[http://netbeans-vm.apache.org/synergy/client/app/#/assignment/2308/v/1]

and switch between applications. Once back inside Formatter, whole field is selected.[^Preferences.mp4]
