Frameset & Navigation bar ...

If I understand correctly, to use Frameset in Turbine, the toplevel file
should be placed in screen/ dir. If I design my .vm files so that they
share a common navigation bar on the left, I need to write a .vm file
(with all the links I need in it) and reference to it from all my other
.vm files.

My question is: is there a way around this, so that we CAN use the
navigation-bar feature as designed originally in Turbine ?
