[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-4037) DirectMemory switch to using Confluence

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-4037?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13127173#comment-13127173 ]

Gavin commented on INFRA-4037:
------------------------------

I read the thread, I like the motorhead/bieber reference but is backwards imo :)

To clarify moinmoin only has the textchas becuase a ContributorsGroup was not created, if that had occured then the textchas would have been removed and you would still be protected from spam. Confluence too uses groups so there is no difference there. The jira/svn integration is noted. I'll get on it shortly.

> The community has decided[2] we'd like to move to Confluence instead the original MoinMoin[1] and is requesting a new Confluence site. Sincerest apologies for the double work here. Thanks.
