[jira] [Resolved] (GUACAMOLE-329) Adding asciinema support for terminal recording

Michael Jumper resolved GUACAMOLE-329.
--------------------------------------
    Resolution: Won't Do

Closing as Guacamole's currently-implemented and de facto standard typescripts do not appear to suffer from the stated limitations, with the exception of the ability to seek within recordings being satisfied through Guacamole's more generic session recording and "guacenc" utility.

Please reopen (and provide further details) if you believe this is not correct.

> Terminal recording is done using typescript. This has some limitations:
> * recording editors such as vim or nano is not possible (in an elegant way at least!).
> * playing typescripts like a video with forward/backward capability is not possible (or at least not easy!).
> * playing terminal recordings in colorful way is not possible.
> Adding terminal recording using another library such as *asciinema* would be really nice and useful.
