Summary: jk Installation docs doesn't fit the reality
           Product: Tomcat 5
           Version: Unknown
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/connectors-
                    doc/install/apache2.html
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P2
         Component: Native:JK
        AssignedTo: tomcat-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: administrator@netsprint.pl

I was trying hard to build the newest jk 1.2.8 according to those docs but hmm -
they just don't make sense when you look at whats in
http://www.apache.org/dist/jakarta/tomcat-connectors/jk/source/jk-1.2.8/jakarta-tomcat-connectors-1.2.8-src.tar.gz

I found in README attached to the sources that it supposed to be built using
'ant' but it didn't work out for me either. I must say that docs for the jks
were and still are poor.

Is it possible to synchro what's distributed with what's being published as docs?
