Table limitations...

Hi,
I've just tried the fop library.... very usefull to produce pdf!!!!!

but I just asked myself.... will the <fo:table> limitation (with the
obligation to declare each column and column-width) continue?
I mean... is this statement definitive, or is the <fo:table>
implementation under development????
As it seems that it obliges to produce square tabs (with all the rows
having the same number of columns)...
what about that?
