As some of you might know, the ApacheCon conference is happening again -
this time in Orlando, FL March 8th-10th.  Now that the code is released,
it would be fantastic to have as much Jakarta-related content there as
possible, not only to show off the code and the developers, but also to
show that Apache is and can be about far more than just the HTTP server
side of things.  You can submit an abstract for consideration at

Unlike most conferences, if you speak, you also get your expenses paid
for, and an honorarium.
