netscape 4.7 does not display *.jsp ?

hello all
i hope this is not "off topic" in this list.

i am using apache 1.3.12 and tomcat

everything works fine so far with IE5.

but NS4 displays only the tags (source of the page) it does not render
the html source.if i open it locally (from file) NS4.7 renders correct ?

i have tested it with a simple html file -> jsp
this file is called test.jsp on my server
if i connect to it eg. home.foo.com/test.jsp it works
with IE5.
NS4.7 only displays the source ?
