Dashboards and Jetspeed 2.1.3

I wanted to let the list know that MARVELit has a BI dashboard product
³DASH² that is bundled with Jetspeed 2.1.3.
There is an online demo on our web site and a 15 day trial download

Check it out if you want to add charts/meters and reports to your portal.

Just wanted to point out that I helped Rick setup his build
environment using the Ant / Eclipse approach that we have been
discussing on the jetspeed-user list recently as described in the new
tutorial:

http://people.apache.org/~taylor/tutorial/docs/site/index.html

Using the Ant / Eclipse approach, it is possible to:

* easily create a custom portal using the provided Ant targets
* use Eclipse WTP to develop and debug your portlet applications
* create an installer of the entire custom portal and portlet
applications all from within the Ant / Eclipse build environment

This project was a great success for me from the development
environment POV. Thanks to Rick for letting me use his project as my
first real project for this new approach.

The BI dashboard is a very cool application demonstrating how you can
create a great product with a Jetspeed custom portal.
