SOAP on J2ME
Has anyone ever tried to get a soap client working in a J2ME program? Are
there any known VM barriers that might prevent this?
Thanks,
todd

I recommend you look at kSOAP (http://ksoap.enhydra.org/index.html).

Hi Todd,
Take a look at Wingfoot SOAP
(http://www.wingfoot.com/products.jsp).
It has a small memory footprint (~21k). It has has
been tested against major SOAP server implementations
and can be used in MIDP/CLDC, Personal Java/CDC, J2SE
and J2EE platforms.
More information can be found in the Wingfoot SOAP
user guide at
http://www.wingfoot.com/docs/WSOAP_User_Guide1_02.html.
Hope this helps,
- Vivek
