[users@httpd] forward proxy

Hi i just downloaded httpd-2.0.53.tar.gz  and configured it with 

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --enable-rewrite=shared
--enable-speling=shared --enable-proxy --enable-proxy-http
--enable-proxy-ftp

then a
 
make

and 

make install

I am getting an error

Reason: DNS lookup failure for:

can any body help me in this case
