Action errors

when i  validate my form and return errors object i get this debug in log
file
DEBUG org.apache.struts.action.RequestProcessor 2003-05-24 13:18:49,738
1474961 -  Delegating via forward to 'hcpprofile.jsp'
and the browser shows HTTP 500 error
can anyone give a clue?
