Open Office Freezing (no screen shot included)

Hi…I am using Open Office with my MacBook Air (2012) and when I try to use Open Office I receive an air message and it freezes. I recently installed Yosemite operating system.  The air message looks like this… I

What message do you get? (attachments are stripped by this list)

It is possible that the OSX system has that lockdown system for unsigned
apps. You will need to disable that to be able to work with OpenOffice.
