[jira] [Commented] (CB-8622) [ios] No loaderror event when opening via '_system'

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-8622?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14352673#comment-14352673 ]

Daniel Toplak commented on CB-8622:
-----------------------------------

I have made fix which fire an loaderror when [[UIApplication sharedApplication] canOpenURL:url] fails.
The checkin is there: https://github.com/cadenasgmbh/cordova-plugin-inappbrowser/commit/983a9aa4cc2d33e944be5fd45b5001c0f941cdf0

I know when canOpenURL fails it will be posted as a notification to observing plugins (if any). But there is no way to find out if there is one and then the open with _system silently fails.

Any thoughts on this how to resolve the problem in a convenience way?

> When opening an url via _system there is no loaderror event fired when the url couldn't be opened. This is especially the case when using custom scheme urls for external apps.
