temorary files in /tmp

Hi!

On my embedded device with openejb 3.1.4. I see some files in the temp dir like:
/tmp/OpenEJB-1xff1p7klhoy7fbxx9ur77o0k

This has size 0.

At one of our test systems there are around 100 of those files in that dir.
(Maybe because we often kill the java process on that device....)

Can someone explain which subsystem creates the files and what they are used for?

Thx....
Markus

Hi,

that's in our Deployer,

we create a temp file to be able to check we are local or not (if the file
exists we are local).

if you are using a maven build setting java.io.tmpdir to target/tmp will do
the trick.

normally this file is cleaned when the jvm shutdowns.
