DBAppender event_id performance.
Logging should be as fast as possible. Does the fact that DBAppender
relies on database generated event_id values make the possibility for
logging slow down. If I have 10 servers that all log to the same
database could event_id generation be a bottleneck (because of
locking, etc). Would it be better to have DBAppender generate the
event_id (like a GUID)? event_id would have to be expanded.
