missing headers

We're suddenly having a very weird problem.

We run SA under procmail from Postfix on Mac OS X.
Things were working well. Now, today, I note a lot
of mail with expected SA headers missing, e.g.

 Return-Path: <cb...@msa.hinet.net>
 X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.1.7 (2006-10-05) on mini.cfcl.com
 X-Spam-Report:
	*  8.0 CF_I18N_1 From: includes 3 consecutive 8-bit characters
 X-Original-To: cfcl@pop.cfcl.com
 Delivered-To: rdm@pop.cfcl.com

Where is the X-Spam-Level header?

 Here's what I see in the spamd log

  Thu Dec 21 23:57:59 2006 [79] info: spamd:
    identified spam (8.0/0.4) for rdm_sh:
    502 in 0.0 seconds, 8644 bytes.
  Thu Dec 21 23:57:59 2006 [79] info: spamd:
    result: Y 8 - CF_I18N_1 scantime=0.0,
    size=8644,user=rdm_sh,uid=502,required_score=0.4,
    rhost=localhost,raddr=127.0.0.1,
    rport=49630,mid=<%BAT_BOUND@>,autolearn=disabled

And this is the local rule that matched

  header CF_I18N_1            From =~ /[\x80-\xff]{3,}/
  score CF_I18N_1             8.0
  describe CF_I18N_1 From: includes 3 consecutive 8-bit characters

Suggestions welcome.
