Instrumentation: datasource "references"

Hi Guys,

I've been doing some diagnosis on our live application servers today, and I've noticed that the instrumentation client reports an ever increasing number of "references" to our two datasource components. This is as reported by the component-manager. The datasource pool reporting tells me that we've only got 5 - 10 active components (as reported by "size".)

I'm worried about the number of references, as it seems to me that if there's a hanging reference to the datasource component manager, it won't be eligible for GC.

Has anyone else noticed this? Can you comment at all?

Thanks,

Corin
