[FlexJS, MDL] Color and Image in ContactChip bead
Hi Carlos,
1) Colors in Contact Chip
ContactChip in MDL example has classes which gives color for text and
background for contact part.
"mdl-color--teal" and "mdl-color-text--white"
How actually it should be implemented ? I should add some properties ?
contactColorName = "white", contactTextColorName = "red" in component code
"mdl-color--" + contactColorName
But more natural probably will be give user ability to set up "#FFFFFF".
Maybe we should leave it as it is and if someone want to add color will have
provide it by CSS.
2) Contact part can be also an image. I was thinking to expose "image"
property - where it will be path to img. Question is how actually assing
such patch to span as it is show in example [1] ?

I do not have problem with this, feel free to do this. Currently I'm
fighting with implementation of MdlColor class as an bead. Class itself is
working fine but I have problems with applying it to ContactChip.

Hi Piotr,
I'm having problems with the current icon implementation as a bead. don't
remember the reason why is a bead instead a normal component.
The problem is that we can't specify where the icon is located, and
sometimes we need between other components. For that reason I propose you
to change the MaterialIconBase to a normal component so it could get the
place it need.
I want to have for example:
<mdl:CardActions border="true">
<mdl:Button colored="true" ripple="true" text="Add to
Calendar"/>
<mdl:Spacer/>
<mdl:MaterialIconEvent/>
</mdl:CardActions>
In the current implementation the bead always "comes first" and the icon
node is output first and then the button and the spacer.
By implementing as a component we get rid of ordination problems...
What do you think?

Ok, I uploaded a change in material icons to change "md48" based on this:

here talks about colors in icons, but nor md48, md96, and colors are
working, don't know if this is not part of the "lite" version...
anyway, I'll go with other things, to not duplicate work

Hi Piotr,
it seems like colors are used in more things like icons. Maybe it could be
better to instead make chips implement an interface make it a bead, so it
could be used in other scenarios. I didn't think in it too much but just so
please take a look and see if is worth it.

Thanks for links - That was very helpful. I've created 2 interfaces
IMdlColor and IMdlTextColor - That's representation of component color or
component text's color.
Last thing which I need to add is image support in ContactChip and Chips
components will be ready. :)

so maybe we could have two vars to mount the name? i.e: color and
colorWeight...

looks good, I think both possibilities should be added, since means
