Object : SSL client authentication acceptable CA list.

High

I wonder if it is possible to add a certificate authority in the client
authentication acceptable CA list.
The problem is : when I set up tomcat to make a client authentication
the server send a list of acceptable
CA for client authentication , the browser react to this list by telling
the user that he has no certificate
available (NetScape) or by displaying an empty box to shoose a
certificate(IE).
Tomcat CA list seems to be fixed : is it possible to add a CA (self
signed certificate) to this list ?

Thanks

B DOREL
