   ## Summary
   
      This reverts commit e659ae83b0cc3a96fb556553b6369c556d7a28e1.
   
       It turns out the DMA polling is needed. The IDLE INT will
       not happen on repetitive signals.
   
   ## Impact
   None - not used in tree.
   
   ## Testing
   
   PX4  nxp_fmuk66-e (GPS, FRSky RC)
