ioprocessor process heavy loading jobs

Hi,

1) Does anyone here know (or find out) if using ioprocessor to do the heavy
loading jobs like compression will cause very high CPU usage and hang the
server?
2) if IoHandler class will catch write timeout exception?

Thanks.

depends on what kind of processing you do on your compression layer. If
you process compressions slower than incoming requests, at some point,
the server will certainly stall.

The high CPU usage might also be due to the compression itself.
