Deployment Error in Linux with JBoss Enterprise Application Platform

Hi,
I threw the sample shindig-server-1.1-SNAPSHOT.war into linux running jboss enterprise application platform and i got the below error. Does anyone know how to to resolve this issue?
DEPLOYMENTS IN ERROR:  Deployment "vfszip:/data/jboss/server/default/deploy/shindig-server-1.1-SNAPSHOT.war/" is in error due to the following reason(s): org.jboss.deployers.spi.DeploymentException: URL file:/data/jboss/server/default/tmp/a03z-27uo0z-gg6l2kxe-1-gg6l5iq6-a0/shindig-server-1.1-SNAPSHOT.war/ deployment failed
