[jira] [Created] (NUMBERS-28) add cis() method to Complex
Eric Barnhill created NUMBERS-28:
------------------------------------
Summary: add cis() method to Complex
Key: NUMBERS-28
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NUMBERS-28
Project: Commons Numbers
Issue Type: Improvement
Reporter: Eric Barnhill
Priority: Minor
There are some references in the ISO standards to a cis() method, meaning cosine + i sin . That is to say, the method should construct a new Complex, taking a single double as argument, the cos of which becomes the real and the sin of which becomes the imaginary. Propose to add this method
