[jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-3251) AWSAPI - runInstances should not error out if instanceType provided is a valid ServiceOffering on CloudStack

Prachi Damle created CLOUDSTACK-3251:
----------------------------------------

Summary: AWSAPI - runInstances should not error out if instanceType provided is a valid ServiceOffering on CloudStack
                 Key: CLOUDSTACK-3251
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-3251
             Project: CloudStack
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
          Components: AWSAPI
Environment: Currently runInstances errors out if instanceType value is not an AWS offering name, even if it is a valid ServiceOffering on CloudStack.

We need to allow the valid serviceOfferings on CS to be passed in through the EC2 API, to work with an existing CloudStack deployment
            Reporter: Prachi Damle
            Assignee: Prachi Damle
             Fix For: 4.2.0
