user_prefs and multiple servers
Currently I am running sa 2.63 on the same server as my primary sendmail
server. In thinking about moving forward with sa 3.0 I would like to move
spamd to a secondary server and using spamc on the primary to make the
connection.
In very limited testing this seems to be working fine with the newest cvs.
My questions is are the user_prefs files on the main server able to be read
by spamd on the secondary server? In my limited testing, this doesn't seem
to be the case. If it can't how can I get around this with out copying all
my users info to this secondary machine?
Also, is there any known problem using spamc from 2.63 with spamd on 3.0?

seems fine, if SA can find dccproc. DCCifd is the deamon version, used for
better performance. otherwise it uses dccproc. gets called for every mail
scanning.

dumb dcc question

I just installed dcc for the first time. I am running a test of sa 3.0,
latest cvs. After running spamassassin -D lint I noticed this line in the
debug output:
DCCifd is not available: no r/w dccifd socket found.
The other dcc lines seem normal. Is this idicating some problem with my
install of dcc?

Anyone have any suggestions for this?
I have a case where the smtp and pop server reside on server1. Spamc hands
of the spam for scanning to spamd. I would like to move spamd to server2,
where I am currently handling antivirus scans.
Is it possible for spamd on server2 to use the user_prefs for individual
users located on server1?
Lastly, does anyone know of any known problems running a version of spamc
different than spamd, ie. Spamc from SA 2.63 and spamd from 3.0?
