[Issue 125550] New: Error when exporting to PDF
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=125550
Issue ID: 125550
Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Error when exporting to PDF
Product: Impress
Version: 4.1.1
Hardware: PC
OS: Windows 7
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical
Priority: P3
Component: save-export
Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
Reporter: matt.lawrence@rogers.com
I went through Issue ID 13312 and I can't find the fix for this so I thought I
would post this.
I am working with Impress and have done this countless times before, but now
when I look to export my presentation as a PDF file (which I do because it is
less buggy then trying to launch the presentations in their natural format), I
get an error and the programme closes. I am then offered the opportunity to
recover my file and go back into the programme.
I have tried saving the file as a different name.
I have tried saving it as a different file format then exporting it.
I have updated to the newest edition of the programme.
I have attempted to repair the programme.
I have restarted my computer several times.
I have gone through everything on your message boards to try and fix it.
Please help.

Can you not help me with this? I am still having the same problem. I tried
recreating the file to see if that would help and it does not.
Please advise.

I tried to attach the file, but it is HUGE 17,612.3 KB. Much smaller than
previous presentations I have exported, by the way.

Also, when I try to solve the problem by cutting and pasting the slides into a
new file, it crashes the exact same way.

It happened with 4.1.0. as well. I have successfully exported a different file,
but the one particular file still cannot be exported. I wondered if that might
help.

I've got the same problem with OpenOffice Impress 4.1.1 and Windows 7.

This is likely a duplicate of bug 125534
@Matt: please confirm if the crash happens with 4.1.1 but not with 4.1.0
