Extending JMeter in Eclipse

I am trying to extend JMeter and I would like to do it in Eclipse. I
found the page for Jmeter + Eclipsel; however, I can't connect to the
cvs repository to get it working. Does anybody know how to get
everything set up in Eclipse? A nice step by step answer would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

"You need both the Source and Binary archive files to build JMeter -
the run-time 3rd party library files are only in the binary archive.
The archives must be unpacked in the same directory structure.

For building your own extensions from your own source, you only need
the binary archive.
