Experiencing the same issue in 2.1.0 version too

Curiously, the password does change in the AD successfully if the password is correct according to the policy but the following message is got
org.apache.directory.api.asn1.ber.grammar.AbstractGrammar - ERR_01200_BAD_TRANSITION_FROM_STATE Bad transition from state START_STATE, tag 0x6F
