As for the readme, patches are welcome. :-)

As for CI, so far we are using jenkins to get a health indicator but that does not cover all the targets and lacks a few things that travis/appveyor could do. It would be nice to build+test the codebase on different target operating systems and receive binaries from it that can then be released. Currently doing a release requires a herd of virtual machines and is a complicated manual task. GitHub offers great integration with travis and appveyor and could further build+test pull requests against the default branch. I look forward to seeing this happen.
