Configuration & development Guide

hi,
         Can anyone help me with the configuration of CASSANDRA..and also i
would like to get a developers guide like java API for CASSANDRA
tutorials... Please help me with your answers. I am using .6 version. And
latter i will integrate with hadoop.

I can think of no quicker resource than the wiki, which has answers
and sample applications linked in its pages.
