[jira] [Commented] (BEAM-8230) Python pre-commits need to include python 3.x tests

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BEAM-8230?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16929333#comment-16929333 ]

Ahmet Altay commented on BEAM-8230:
-----------------------------------

This might be a non-issue. The example is actually py3 test failing in py2.

Still good to check if our precommits run different py3 versions as well as py2 versions.

> Python pre-coomit does not seem to run python 3.x test. This results in post commit tests catching simple issues like syntax error.
