How to bypass a local certificate problem
I've download 11.2 (zip file) and during startup it attempts to download specific files, for example:
https://hg.netbeans.org/binaries/344C8C2A8B421A52ABE725A677BF75659C17FEB6-nb-javac-13-impl.jar
It fails to connect on the Linux box I am working on, and Firefox on that box states the web site has security issues. I can download from my Windows machine successfully.
I will attempt to "push the rope" to get the Linux boxes certificates corrected, but in the meantime...
1) Is there a directory in which I could place these files and have NetBeans find it during startup?
2) When this occurs is there a log somewhere that I could look at to copy/paste the failing URL, for the subsequent files?
I don't believe we can use CoolBeans as this is a commercial environment. 11.1 downloaded successfully, so perhaps it used different URLs?
Thanks in advance.
