Nested pageRedirectException

I have a series of pages which use the pageBeginRender method inherited 
from the PageRenderListener interface.  When I visit 'page1' the 
pageBeginRender method is kicked off and throws 
PageRedirectException("page2") where page2 is a valid IPage string.  
Everything works fine so far...  Now, on 'page2' when the 
pageBeginRender method is fired, it throws another 
PageRedirectException("page3") where page3 is also a valid IPage 
string.  When this second exception is hit I am sent to the tapestry 
exception page shown in my web browser with this error:
 
org.apache.tapestry.PageRedirectException          
page3

Is there a problem throwing this exception more than once?  Any help 
would be appreciated.
