I gathered from Peter's posts he had some kind of rule validator that
could do more than that (only one of these two arguments is allowed,
argument x may only be set if argument y is set as well ...)

Putting this kind of logic into method calls that could be invoked
from ProjectHelper seems cumbersome to say the least.
