you could try to start with a new user profile:
- close aoo including quickstart
- rename"C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice\4"
  to "C:\Users\[USER]\AppData\Roaming\OpenOffice\4_backup"
- restart aoo
