Migratiom from 1.5.x to 1.7.x
Dear all,
Where can I find a migration guide to upgrade JClouds from 1.5.x to 1.7.x ?
Best,
Paolo

Ah, OK. Access to the underlying API in jclouds 1.6 [1] and above is
done either by "unwrapping" [2] the context, or by skipping the
creation of a context (if you are not using any of the portable
functionality) and going straight from the ContextBuilder to the API
class using the builder's "buildApi" method.
The CreateVolumeAndAttach example [3] demonstrates both approaches.
Hope that helps!

OK, I will do as soon as I will give it a try.
I will keep you updated on this.
Best,
Paolo

Hi Paolo,
When you find out what works, would you be willing to update the AWS guide [1]?
It’s really easy to do. You can contribute doc entirely from within your web browser [2].
Thanks,
Everett

I'm not aware of any specific *migration guide* document as such. From what I recall, the release notes [1] for the various versions highlight certain changes, such as the Maven group ID switch from org.jclouds -> org.apache.jclouds.
Do you have any specific areas of concern?

I'm not aware of any specific *migration guide* document as such. From
what I recall, the release notes [1] for the various versions
highlight certain changes, such as the Maven group ID switch from
org.jclouds -> org.apache.jclouds.
