cannot connect to 'db'

Hi,
I've seen this question on the list, but I haven't seen an answer.

I start xindice, and things look good ...

"Starting Xindice
----------------

Xindice 1.0 (Birthday)

Database: 'db' initializing
Script: 'GET' added to script storage
Service: 'db' started
Service: 'HTTPServer' started @ http://localhost.localdomain:4080/
Service: 'APIService' started

Server Running"



But when I type
xindiceadmin ac -c /db -n addressbook (from a new window),
I get ...

"ERROR : A connection to the Database instance 'db' could not be created.
Error: localhost"


Any possible explanations? I'm running RedHat 7.2.
