[ANN] Apache CXF 2.6.1/2.5.4/2.4.8/2.3.11 released

The Apache CXF team is proud to announce the availability of the latest
patches: 2.6.1, 2.5.4, 2.4.8, and 2.3.11.

One very important note: this is the last planned release on the 2.3.x
branch. Users are STRONGLY encouraged to upgrade to the newer branches
(preferably 2.6.1) to continue getting fixes and enhancements.

Apache CXF is an open source services framework. CXF helps you build and
develop services using front end programming APIs, like JAX-WS and JAX-RS.
These services can speak a variety of protocols such as SOAP, XML/HTTP,
RESTful HTTP, or CORBA and work over a variety of transports such as HTTP,
JMS or JBI.

This is mostly a patch release to fix problems and issues that users have
encountered.

2.6.1 fixes over 90 JIRA issues reported against 2.6.0. See:
