Thanks Joerg for enlighten me. I've changed my mind and removed the port property from the sample in documentation, but,

where have any of you seen documented that property, it's only on a wrong sample, it's not anywhere else!!!

Would it then make sense to either detect the scp and ssh executable being used and set the port argument appropriately or to simply create a different deployer for Putty.  They could easily share a common base class to prevent duplicate code but have different prefixes.  openssh:// and putty:// would make sense to me.

IMHO the port property just makes no sense for scpexe, since you cannot know what option is used. For the internal handled protocols this should not be the problem.
